Thinking of buying a condo?
Houston has a great variety of condominiums on the market. If you’ve
never lived in one before, you will quickly learn to appreciate the convenient
lifestyle a full service high rise offers. With a valet to park your car, a
concierge to greet you when you come home and staff to handle the landscaping and
common maintenance, you will have more time for yourself and your life. This is
especially important if you travel a lot or if you just have a very busy
schedule.
There are several differences between owning a condominium and
owning a home. You own your own space inside
the condo and share the common areas (hallways, amenities such as fitness
centers and party rooms etc.) with the other owners in the building. The amenities
and building staff are covered in your maintenance fees. While you might have
yearly maintenance fees in a housing subdivision, you can expect monthly maintenance
fees in a condo. With those fees comes the knowledge that you never had to mow your lawn again or clean your
own pool and you can let the concierge greet your guests and send them upstairs
if you want. It’s like having a butler and a maintenance
person without having to foot the whole bill yourself.
